I purchased a new car from sansone jr's automall in Neptune NJ.  At the time of the purchase they informed me about a referral service where I would get $200 if I referred a customer who purchased a new car from them. They set me up with a referral account and again told me that I would get money if I brought in new customers.

My mother was shopping for a new car.  I referred her to the automall, negotiated the deal for her, helped her with her trade in, and essentially handed them another car sale.  At the time the manager, a man named Christian, told me that I was definitely eligible for the referral bonus and that he personally would take care of my bonus and that "I could trust him."

I was a little bit weary since he insisted that I did not need to use the computerized system.  I asked that the referral be placed in the system and Christian told me not to worry, he would do it for me, and that the check would get to me fast.  I never received the check.

After multiple phone calls going unanswered, I finally received a call from an internet sales manager after I emailed them a few times.  I was told that Christian never entered it into the system, but that they are aware that they owe me the money and that a check would be ready by that Friday.

I went to the dealership and Christian saw me and ran out the door to avoid talking to me.  The internet sales manager played dumb and there was no check.  Since then they refuse to answer phone calls or emails from me.  I then posted on their facebook page.  They responded that they would get back to me "Today" to let me know that the check is in the mail.  They never got back to me and then deleted my facebook posting.  It must have appeared that they resolved the issue to other customers who observed their page.

I still have not received the bonus.

After calling for 3 months and getting lied to I started writing internet reviews.  They finally cut me a check and then replied on multiple websites to my review that it was a misunderstanding and that they sent me a check.  The check was for 1/2 the amount that they owed me and in the item description there was some language which I can only take to be derogatory language.  Again, they have gone out of their way to not pay up what they owed.
