I am a single mother and worked for this company for only 26 hours attending to one client as a Personal Home Care Assistant. I went to her house, cleaned, and drove her around every other day to the grocery store, errands or to get her ice cream. I bought her food because she did not have any and took her to the doctor. I am also in school full time which they were aware of and my hours changed. They became upset that I could not stay with this one client because they told me everyone that stayed with her ended up leaving because they could not get along with this client. I never met my supervisor, the owner, anyone that worked there and all my paperwork was done over the computer as a last minute position that they needed filled ASAP. I was never drug screened, this is a must because it is a state job. I paid for my own background check, and scanned the copy to them, which was odd to begin with. The client had told me the lady that had stayed with her before I came would leave her several times a week to run personal errands. The client said she reported this to the home care but nothing was done. I would not hire this company to care for me or my family. I will never work for them again either, very strange and nobody ever answers the phone when you call. I would be at my clients house and try to call and it would ring for hours. This is a really bad company and I think the state needs to investigate this company to see if it is a real company or is it a scam?

 My name is Sandra, Administrator of Sanzie Healthcare Services, Inc. I am responding to one of the complaint made by Shannon regarding not getting paid for her 26 hours. She was hired to care for one of our client. When she was hired, she was instructed on how important it is that she shows up to work as schedule. She never mentioned to us that she was a student and her hours would change. She knew her school hours would change but she insisted on taking the assignment. If I knew she was in school, I would reassigned that client to another caregiver. Most of our clients are medically compromised and they need help with their Adl's and IAdl's(Activity of daily living and Instrumental Activity of daily living). Punctuality and dependability is one of our best asset that we try to posses here at SHCS. When a staff does not show up to work, and not call the office to get the assignment reassigned. It affect our client's physically, emotionally and mentally. It is also called NEGLECT. NO CALL, NO SHOW is considered NEGLECT. Shannon, not only once but twice neglected her client. Our office was not notified that she will not going to work. The client called the office to notify us that she did not show up. That's horrible! Sanzie Healthcare Services Inc takes pride in delivering good quality care to all our clients. We represent staff punctuality , good work ethics, proper documentations, and accountability. It is the company's policy that all paperwork completed on all our clients should be mailed to the office. Shannon refused to mailed her paperwork. I instructed Mrs. Dorothy (supervisor) to meet with Ms. Shannon to go through her paperwork before it is mailed to the office. Shannon refused to answer her calls. She emailed her paper work with mistakes and without the client signatures. I corrected it and emailed it back to her advising that she fix the corrections and have it resigned by the client. I went further to alert the client that Shannon will be there to get her paperwork resigned. Shanon refused to fix the corrections, or have it resigned by the client. We have been in business for 6 years, and we have never had any issues with paying our employees. In our line of business, if it is not documented, it never happened. Sanzie Healthcare Services pride our self in our documentations. All SHCS employees have to provide proper documentations with the client's signatures attesting that services was provided by our employees. As a Personal care Assistant, All pca must have their: proof of Tb test, Physical, Cna license or take the HHA competency test, criminal background, MVR, auto insurance, driver license, Social Security. All SHCS employees must provide those documents before they are release into our client's home. It is not the company's responsibility to provide Shannon those documents. She should already possess those documents as a PCA. I am not disputing the fact that she did not work those hour, but I must have the proper signed documentations from her attesting that she worked those hours before her paycheck is issued. It is the Company's policy. Most of our clients are approved for community home care services through Medicaid. We must have proper signed documentations from our clients to our caregivers before they are issued their paycheck. Once Shannon provides her documentations and it is mailed to the office.
