Sappington Construction,LLC Benjamin Sappington Dishonest Orlando, Florida

Owner of said company entered into a contract to provide carpentry services. Including, purchasing exterior door, installation of said door & lock, painting of door & repair to door frame. Sappington Construction, llc cashed check for down payment in December of 2012. Check represented approximately 50% of the job.

 After numerous attempt to contact Mr Sappington for status of job, I asked for refund of all funds paid. Mr Sappington contacted me via gmail saying he would drop a cashiers check by my home the next day. I did not hear from Mr. Sappington, or receive the cashiers check.
 
Called & left several messages to which no response was given. I was finally able to reach Mr. Sappington in late February. He said he had stuck the envelope with my refund on my front door in mid January. I told him I had not received it. He said he would check with his bank to see if it had been cashed. He found out that it hadn't been cashed and offered to drop a new check to me, in person the week of February 27th. Unfortunately, I have not received my refund. Mr. Sappington does not answer his phone or return calls. Conclusively, I have come to the realization that he does not intend to refund my money or try to resolve the problem. Seemingly one of those checks in the mail ploy....
