Sarah Barker, TNT Delivery Service, Robin Gregorian Computer ripoff using Craig's list in DC and TNT delivery service in United Kingdom London internet

On Monday, July 14, 2008, I saw a computer I was interested in on Craig's List. The computer was 2 months old and only $500. I emailed the seller for more information and did not received a response until Saturday July 19, 2008.

The seller emailed that 'she' hoped I still wanted the computer. She said she was now in Manchester, United Kingdom and had the computer to sell before she started traveling. She said she chose $500 to sell it quickly. She explained that she needed a 13" computer and for this reason was selling the HP Pavilion HDX notebook.

To complete the transaction, she explained how TNT delievery service worked. We checked out TNT on the internet and they had a nice website and seemed legitimate. TNT would work as a middle man in the transaction. She supposed took the computer to TNT and I received an email from TNT saying they had it in holding waiting for the Western Union payment.

I was told the name of the agent who would receive the funds and send the computer for a 5-day trial. I sent the $500 and had to pay $43 to Western Union to send the money. It has been 2-days and I haven't heard from TNT. I was brousing the internet and found a similar incident on Ripoff Report. I hope this report is soon enough to catch those involved.
