Saranac Lake Central School Enough already, time to put kids first!! Saranac Lake New York

OK, enough is enough. This school is just getting worst. It is one thing to drop education because as we are told there is no money, but yet the superintendent puts in and gets a huge raise??? One reason he said was because of gas prices!! Move to the school district like you were told to and agreed to in the first place and we tax payers would not have to cover your burden.

Yes, the school budget passed, just barely, you will never how how many teachers come foward and says they are sorry they voted yes and how they are reminded it is their employment they are voting on, I understand teachers, I don't blame you, sorry this school has to remind you of that so when the school budget passes, it looks like every thing is ok. This is just the tip of the iceburg.

The enrollment has gone down, check the nysed site on that fact. I know where at least 20 kids have gone, transfered to other schools or home schooled. Another kid was pushed out due to one principal's misleading and false statements to a parent about what the school was actually doing.

What did the school do about this? NOTHING-oh wait-defended this principal. Again, many 'professionals' who worked with this kids has mentioned how dissapointed this school is and it was a good thing that the parents got that kid out of there. Every school has it's problems, this school has many chances to work with the community on its problems but never does. I can go on and on forever but.....here is your chance.

Now is the time to be heard. I do not need your name, just your horror stories. Hey, if that school does not listen, let us give them a lot to not listen to. Post your thoughts here. Tell us all what you see wrong with this school. Sure you feel what is the point, well, the point is, when you do not speak up-this school keeps doing what ever the hell it wants, and so far, that has not worked, declining enrollment, can't go anywhere in town without hearing negatives,confidence in this school is way too low.

It is time we take a stand and put education back in this school. It is time we are finally heard....freedom of speach is in your hands, let us start using it!!! Look forward to read all your posts. Let's get OUR school back!!!!
