I signed up for DirecTV under their promotional offer of a free home theater system with DVD player with 12 months of service of DirecTV from their company on September 2nd. 2004. According to their flyer, I would receive the home theater system after 6 months of continuous DirecTV service.

After 6 months of continuous service I did not receive a home theater system, in fact I did not receive an email or anything from Direct Satellite Network Solutions. I called them in April, one of their representatives told me I should have received a form for the home theater system from them after my 6th month bill and that "it was weird that I didn't receive anything".

He told me I needed to complete the form and send it back with a copy of my receipt and that after they receive the forms they would send the home theater system. So after doing so I still received nothing from them, I had to call them again and then was informed that I would receive the system in June.

June came and gone without even a word from Direct Satellite Network Solutions, I had to call them again and again but they always told me that there was a backorder and postponed the delivery date again and again. So far nothing has been received now.

Moreover, I found they always change their phone number without any notice. I ordered the package by phone at 800-788-5332 but the phone number didnt work on July. After going through a lot of trouble I finally found a different number for their company 800-615-1621. However this phone number is also no longer was used like previous C no body picked up the phone. I found the change a local number as 949-643-7160.

They also delayed the delivery date to the end of this year with the some reason. As I know, they have been cancelled authorization by DirecTV and switched to Dish Network. I don't know if their still use some way to treat Dish Network's customers. However, I don't feel that I can really the package. It is only a promotion trick. I will keep updating if I get further information.

DirecTV ended their relationship with Satellite Systems Network several months ago due to multiple instances of this fraud. Anyone affected should contact DirecTV--we will research the eligibility and anyone who was eligible and did not receive their promotional item can get a $50 credit on their DirecTV bill.
