On 10/10/2014 my sister and I hired Saunders Law Group to represent us in an Unlawful Detainer court case.  The person we spoke to was Ramon Sevilla.  He represented that they would file all court papers, appear in court with us and negotiate with the Plaintiff's Lawer in he case.  While talking to Ramon on the phone I asked specificly what they were going to do for the $500 fee.  He said they will file all papers and when I asked about them going to court with us he purposely directed my attention to a box that was marked that said they would go to court with us to draw my attention away from the fact that none of the boxes about them filing paperwork were checked.  But he verbally promised that they would file paperwork several times over the next two weeks. Explaining our case, giving payment information, receiving the contract and signing and emailing the contract back was done within two hours of contacting them.  After the money was taken from my account and the contract was signed all we got were promises and excuses why nothing they said they would do was ever done.  The Unlawful Detainer was due to retaliation from the landlord because he sold me a car with the odometer rolled back 90,000 miles and I confronted the landlord with this fact.  When the landlord was arrested 5 months later in the largest odometer fraud bust in California history he assumed that I was responsible for the arrest and his wife told us that if her husband went to jail we would have to be relocated.  He is now in jail with over 80 different counts and over a million dollars bail.  His wife was also charged with over 20 counts of falsifying DMV paperwork but is out on bail   Obviously I was not their only victim but I was blamed for ther total lack of concern to their customers.  They have never taken responsibility for what they had done to so many people over several years.  We had never been late on our rent, never complained about mutiple problems with the property they would not fix after us contacting them and we did nothing to deserve the eviction.  My sister is bedridden and we are both receiving disibility.  When we moved here we were told they were looking for long term tenents.  We moved in on 3/29/2013.  My sister had to be brought here by ambulance when we moved in.  All this information was known by Ramon.  After over 20 phone calls and emails to Ramon Seville and the receptionist Stephanie the Sheriff showed up at our door on 10/24/2014 with paperwork saying if we were not out of the house by 11/4/2014 we would be removed from the premises by the sheriff.  On 10/29/2014 I went to the courthouse myself and with the help of Bay Area Legal Aid (if you live in the San Francisco Bay Area they are the peopole you need to contact if you are low income or disabled) filed all necessary paperwork, including, a Stay of execution, Motion to set aside Judgement, Proof of Service and Proposed Anser to any future Unlawful Detainer suit within 3 hours.  Saunders Law Group and their employees did not file even a notice that they were retained as our Attiorney of record in two weeks.  Now we are going to have to fight them to get our $500 fee returned.  These people are all talk and no action.  All we got were excuses and promises and nothing more.  Do not hire this company if you want proper representation from a lawyer.  It would be a waste of your money.  Because we put our trust in this company and their employees we are in danger of losing our home.
