I joined the Revenue Allies (now savologynetwork) affiliate program in March of 2008, had a expensive website built for all the services they offered and dumped more than $7,000 in a direct mailer campaign for dish network. I had the full back page ad of a valassis red plum ad (the biggest weekly ad in the nation) More than 450,000 homes were hit and they say I generated ONLY 3 sales!!! Thats right 3 out of 450,000 mailers! At this time Gregory Santore was my program manager (now the director of afilliate marketing there) he told me this type of campaign will get about 1-2% response (about 4500 callers) and about 25% closing ratio (about 1125 sales) and about 60% activation ratio... doing the numbers I should have been paid on 675 activated deals which would of came out to about $75,000. Even if they did half of those numbers i would of been happy. Their excuse was the phone number they issued me was not to the sales dept but to a concierge. FRAUD!!! They gave me a unreliable tracking site to track calls but wasnt working correctly (they say). I was dumb enough to keep them active on my website and who knows how many more deals they stole from me. They dont have up to date tracking software and they NEVER pay commissions on time. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS. I had 5 different program managers and not 1 of them seemed educated enough to handle a heated conversation professionally. They all seem irriataed like they hate their jobs. Even Gregory Santore was stuck up enough to tell me they will terminate my account if I don't act professional. (I have been in real estate for 7 years and college educated) Straight up EVIL PEOPLE! They will go to HELL for the wicked sins they commit. So today I called in to close my account and part with them. I mentioned I want them to pay me for my pending deals (only about $260 worth) and they had the nerve to tell me they don't see anything pending... they locked me out of my account so I couldn't see what I exactly had. Then John Hiatt (the deal approver) stutters on what he sees on my account. Over the phone he says I have 4 deals pending then says none. This is a perfect sceme and I demand anyone reading this report to NOT USE SAVOLOGY NETWORK for any affiliate programs... There are way better companies to deal with in the affiliate world and Savology is the worst!!! This company and their employees are a joke!!! Use real professional affiliate sites Here are a few (((Redacted)))

I am a DISH Network retailer, and here is my opionion.
First of all this type of affiliate program that savology runs is nothing more than a scam. If the advertising and website they are selling you works so well, why don't they just do it themselves and cut you out as the middle man?
As far as Valassis Red Plum, based on my experence if your luckey you might see about 10-15 sales based on the number of homes that where mailed out. It is possible you only got 3 sales, but its likely there are a few that got stolen from you in the process.
There is absolutly no way you would have seen 675 installed sales, and there is absolutly no way you could even make this program work when your getting paid about $110 as an affiliate.
Its just sad that their affiliate sales manager lied to you....
The typical responce for these types of ads are 1/10th of 1%, if not less than that. Once you get the call into the call center, 30% of the customers who call are going to agree to sign up for service.
Out of the 30% of the customers who ageee to sign up, 50% of those customers will fail the credit check.
Out of the 50% of the customers who do pass the credit check, 85% will actually get installed!
So the real numbers are something like 12.75% of the customers who actually respond to your ad will get installed and get paid.
Then I don't know if your subject to chargeback, but 1.5% of your customers per month will disconnect and chargeback.
I the numbers just don't add up, especially as an affiliate.
