I applied for a loan modification in Nov. 2008, I received a call from saxon rep. Jan, 15,2009 saying my loan modification was approved, and was told that I would receive new loans docs. via fedex, I never received docs. I had also requested docs. to be emailed to me, so I printed docs. and had them notarized and sent by fedex alone with cashier check on, Jan. 21, I checked fedex tracking and docs. were received the following day, I waited a month and called Saxon in Feb.2oo9 because I had received a notice of default. The rep said that he seen where I had been approved for a modification and to mail my payment in because the computer had not been updated to receive my payment, I sent payment alone with a copy of approval letter, the rep also told me to ignore any demands for payments he actually told me to put them in the fireplace, the following month I sent April payment the same way, I had received 1 demand for payment in March which I ignored like the rep had told me, In March my credit report had Saxon reporting me as late so I sent Saxon an email explaing everything, and was told my credit report would be updated (which it was) In the later part of April I went on line to see if their computers had been updated and it was still reporting me as late, so I called Saxon and the 1st rep, said I owed from Jan. thru March I told her I had did a loan modification and she said it had been denied because they had not received my paper work. I was then connected to someone in another department, so I explained everything all over again I gave him the fedex tracking info, the name of the person who signed for it,and he begin . to tell me all the contacts that were made between me and the person from Saxon,he also told me that the loan docs. had been sent to me fedex which I never received, he then told me that his supervisor would look into it and for me to call back Wed. but when I call back to expect the worse, I ask him what did he mean by that and he said that the worse would be that I would have to submit the docs. over again, I just received a letter dated April 21, 2009 saying that my modification had been denied. my docs. were due back in there office by Feb. 3, 2009, so it took them over 2 months to tell me they had not received my paper work that's strange they received the check but not the papers, I have read so many other similar stories about Saxon, so maybe someone in the company is cashing the checks and destroying the paper work, after reading so many horror stories I don't know what to expect.
