SBFC Inc Small Business Funding Company Inc Took $2600 from our organization promising to obtain grants worth $750,000 and did nothing Henderson, Nevada

In December 2007 I was contacted by Kathy Dutton whom advised the company she worked for provided grant writing services for our animal rescue organization. SBFC Inc. and/or Small Business Funding Co. Inc. owned and/or operated by Eric Boeckh and/or GRIESELDA BAUSCH.

I went in to visit and fill out the forms and all looked well. I signed an agreement giving them two years to research grants and they promised to provide as much as $750,000 in grants after I gave them $2600 to get started. Then, all they would need is another $3600 once the first grant of $100,000 was received. All I got was an emailed list of companies that provide grants to animal rescue organizations.

A Cody Riedy contacted me wanting another $10,000 for a business plan required to continue. I declined and not one person within the organization would talk to me or return my phone calls after that.

I complained to the BBB and no response. I complained to Consumer Affairs and no response. I tried the Neighborhood Justice Center and no response. Their attorney was Kelly Montgomery, but he never returned phone calls or letters.

I think any person that works or worked for this organization should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT hire a grant writing company. DO NOT pay a grant writer money up front. Apply on your own or put a professional grant writer on payroll. Most certainly watch out for the names mentioned in this post and consider them professional scammers. If the "employees" want to clear their names they should pay everyone back they help their employer rip off.
