To anyone who is reading this report. Please listen! I ordered a custom perfume from Scentcrafters on 12-10-08. I still have not received by product or a refund.

I have call Adam Schultz at least (20) times and all I have gotten is a voice mail. I left messages for him to call me back, but he never has. I did get through to him one time and I said after almost (2) months, I just want a refund. "He said we don't give refunds". However, their return policy is that they will refund your money.

I finally got an email from them saying they shipped out my perfume and they gave me a tracking number but when I contacted the USPS they informed me that they never received a package from them. This is a bogus company.

The last email I received from them was hate mail. They told me I was sick and needed help. I have filed a complaint againt them with the Attorney General's office in Michigan.

If anyone has been ripped off by this company, please I would like to hear from you because I am going to file a lawsuit against them. They have to be stopped.

Once again, please do not order from this company, I don't want to see innocent people be taken as I was.

SAME DEAL in NY

AUTHOR: tamara - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, August 20, 2009

Tired of doing all this typing, but Carol, the same exact thing happened to me.  What really bugs me is that they take your original payment for almost $70 via e-check so they have your bank account information.  So they can just take whatever they want whenever they want and CAN cause you to bounce a zillion checks if you're not hypervigilant. I know someone that happened to via paypal and it cost them $700 in bounced check fees.

Anyway, Once I started asking for tracking numbers, they said they sent it and what was my problem. Then they ceased all communication with me. I can't tally up all the phone calls and emails (but I CAN print those out) I have had with this bogus company. I also filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in NY, but the AG office can't get anywhere either. We should file a class action suit.  I had to replace my teeny sample I was saving for my wedding day by buying it on ebay for $250.00, so not only do they have my $65.98, but they have my only sample. They don't even care about the sentimental value of our beloved retired fragrances.  I hate them. I did insure the fragrance sample I sent but why should the post office pay for this rip off company's mistake?

FYI-the post office could not track the package down, either and THAT is embarassing when you're standing there with a stack of paperwork at the post office window and some post office clerk reminds you that insurance fraud is a felony.  d**n, this company is so set up to steal it's not funny. also as an fyi-My original order date was october 2008.

The facts with proof

AUTHOR: Scentcrafters - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 11, 2009

Here at Scentcrafters we've sold over 10,000 bottles of perfume with literally almost that many satisfied customers.

Unfortunately in this case the customer is frankly a little unstable. We'll include the e-mail chain as proof. Here's a summary:

1. We ship out product to customer and e-mail here with tracking number and a link to track it at www.usps.com. We also tell her it was delayed a day because she provided the wrong ship to address.

2. Customer e-mails back stating that we are LYING about the tracking number, because she could not find it at www.ups.com (note that this is a private company, when we told her it shipped through the United States Postal Service). She also said we were LYING about her shipping address being wrong. She then goes on a crazy rant about us being scumbags.

3. We calmly point out to customer that we shipped through www.usps.com and that she did in fact have the shipping address wrong. We send her a copy of the order as proof.

4. Instead of apologize, customer completely flips out. Acts as if it is our fault the shipping address is wrong, then says that we are making up the tracking number because the www.usps.com site didn't do an update (the tracking number was there, it just had not been delivered yet). She literally said we made up the tracking number, yet somehow it was on the www.usps.com website, stating that we must have tricked them somehow.

5. The product arrived as promised using the label number we provided. If you like you can look it up yourself at www.usps.com and this tracking number:

0103 8555 7496 6924 1957

In summary, if you are reading this and intend to act like a crazy psycho and abuse our staff, please don't order from us. If you intend to act like a normal human being, or maybe even just a little rude, welcome to our company, we'd love to have you as a customer.

E-mail Chain, reads top to bottom:

Subject: Your Order

Hello,

Your order shipped today, here is the tracking number:

0103 8555 7496 6924 1957

It's through USPS, you can track it at www.usps.com

It would have shipped sooner but you gave us an invalid ship to address. Since we process orders automatically, this kicked it out of our system until we had a chance to manually research why the address was bad.

Dear Vicky:

I still have my email confirmation from Adam Schultz when I ordered this perfume on 12-10-08. The shipping address I gave you was correct. As far as you shipping out my order by UPS and using the tracking number you gave me, once again, they have no record of this. Gee, I never would have guessed! At this point, I'm contacting the Consumer Protection Fraud Agency, your company left me no choice. I am also posting on Ripoff.com and Angies list not to evet attempt to buy from your company. You are thieves. You should go on Ripoff.com and hear what people have to say about your so called company. Very enlighting.

Hi Carol,

The tracking number we gave you was not from UPS, it was from USPS, which stands for United States Postal Service. Which is www.usps.com...... Perhaps you should check again.

The address you gave us was Mt. Lauel, which unfortunately isn't a real city in New Jersey.
