Scher tire inc.store 25 Salesman 3970,Bar #ard181104 Scammed us out of 1284.53 dollars and our engine light is still on! had to bring it back 6 Times! i have no money to get it fixed now and Chris complaint manager begged me to bring it back 7th time an Corona, California

I'm hoping to make a long story short but so much went wrong with my van after having Shertire work on our van I'm sure to leave some things out! Brought it in because engine light was on and they did diagnostic and said gasket was leaking and needed new manifold gasket set which was the major problem. The mechanic told us if we had all this work done our van would be running great. (it was running fine when I brought it in) After a long list of things they needed to do and 1284.53 dollars later (which we had to put on our Sher charge card because we didn't have the money) brought our van home. Next morning my husband was bringing our son to work and the van was smoking really bad and burning smell coming from engine along with a sizzling sound. Brought the van back and they said coolant hose cracked and was leaking on engine and engine light is back on.(mind you on paperwork we paid to have all hoses inspected). Ok mistakes happen and nobody's perfect. My husband brings van to have it smogged and it doesn't pass. The gentleman at smog station say's the hose to exhaust is cracked and tells my husband to go to pepboys and buy part and my husband fixes that Himself! another hose overlooked. We bring it back to Sher 3rd time because engine light on. Get the van back and its making this really loud sound We have never heard before and of course engine light goes on again so we bring it back 4th time. They say it was a broken vacuum hose! We are starting to feel like this is some sick Joke.

Driving the van and I notice it's idling low and starts stalling at lights. My husband with 3 of our kids had to drive the van in 5'0clock traffic from O.C. to Riverside with it stalling all the way home, and of course to no surprise our engine light is on again (not to mention our taillight we had replaced is not working either and still isn't.)

We called Chris the Scher complaint manager and he just said people make mistakes and to bring it in again! we said we would not go back and he said to bring it back to his shop on Tyler and he would make sure the problem is fixed. After having it at his shop twice that problem was fixed but he didn't give us paperwork stating the problem.

We started all this in December and it ran through January and it was so exhausting and stressful.

Today my engine light is still on and my taillight still doesn't work and we have no money to get it fixed correctly.

I did send a 3rd complaint to Chris in an Email and he told me to bring it back in! This would be the 7th time bringing the van in and I told him I would be a fool and crazy to even trust them and I have his emails admitting the error of his workers, but to this day he has not done anything to resolve this.

My uncle told me to get a copy of the diagnostic test and Scher told me they don't have one they just right down the problems.

Chris the complaint manager for Scher told me to bring my van in and it would only take a short time to finds out why my engine light was on. I told him "you mean to tell me it's that easy to find out why my engine light is on but you guys couldn't do that for us the six times we had it in your shop?" To me this just confirms their incompetence.
