In my professional opinion, Sam Shapiro is a sociopath and serial liar who is an incompetent attorney at best. Sam was retained to do a very simple assignment related to trust and estate planning, and the assignment has still not been completed after two years and while he holds critical records that need to be delivered to the state on our behalf.

He is extremely GOOD at lying and deferring responsibility, and has zero interest in actually close out the matter.

It will only be a matter of time before the State Bar launches an investigation into the malpractice and malfeasance that is rampant at Sam's firm, and either issue a disciplinary action that will lead to disbarment. I recommend that every one stay away from this firm and from Sam Shapiro personally, and that you send your business elsewhere as there are a ton of highly competent T&E attorneys in LA who would be happy to earn your business by actually delivering what they say they are going to deliver.
