I wrote this report in 2009.6.20 shortly after being ripped off by sciencelab.com;

I wanted to explain why sciencelab might do partial orders, which I figured after finding out that 

what was not included in the order was something I should not legally have anyway .

 


. Sciencelab is trying to protect itself from the problem of having swarms of people buying chemicals that they are not legally allowed to possess .

 

. one problem for us all, is that the legality of a chemical is not obvious .

. some materials that were federally script-only are now legal (eg, hormones: dhea, mel, t3) .

. some script-only meds such as lithium are legal to buy as pure powder without a script .

 

. finally, some chem'suppliers will tell you the legal status of a chemical; eg, spectrumchemical.com did this in 2009,

but if you thought all chem'suppliers had to tell you this, nay, welcome to sciencelab.com! all you get from them is an email

 warning you of something seemingly unrelated: that some of your order is on backorder,

and oh, by the way, read carefully the terms of service .

. that will warn you that you can't cancel a backorder you agree to, unless sci'lab determines that it can't get the product .

 

. you might assume after reading the terms that there is some time limit to that determination .

. that assumption would mistaken; yet how can that be?

what they just had you agree to is that they can hold your money indefinitely without ever providing a product !

isn't there some law against misusing terms like that ?
