Scitt West advertused as a contractor who did refurbished homes for Wells Fargo, on Craigslist.  He also said he had been a plice officer and his son was a police officer.  He came to my home, measured the wood outside of my home and said he needed $947 to repair the rotten wood.  He could not take a credit card because he was doing a deal with Mannings Lumber where he could get the Pine wood cheaper if he paid cash.  I called Mannings and they said they knew Scott West.  So I gave Scott West the $947, but he never returned.  I now have found another lady, on disability, which Scott West ripped her off of $1300.  Incidentally, he did return to my home to ask for additonal money becaus the wood was more expensive than he had quoted.  I said I would be happy to pay him for any additional lumber, but I needed a receipt and I needed him to begin the labor immediately.  The gruesome ending:  The guy takes money and does not return.
