How I wish I'd found the Rip-Off Report before we hired Koppenhafer!  It would definitely have made the difference and we would probably not be dealing with his shoddy work in our master bathroom.  He and his herd of minions installed a shower floor that from day one was an issue.  At first, water pooled in the back of the shower, which he said just needed some simple grading.  Long & short, they did get the water to actually drain.  However, the grout job was so poor that it began to collect as hard rocks on the shower floor, which is the way it still is - 9 months after the fact.  Why?  Koppenhafer will not return our phone calls and even rejected receipt of a registered letter we sent him. 

Now, with quotes from contractors who apparently know what they're doing, we're looking at an easy 2K to redo the shower floor.  Several of the contractors have stated having NEVER seen such lousy work!  As my husband and I can attest, as we shower wearing flip-flops to protect our feet from cuts, Koppenhafer should not only have his license revoked (if he has one), he should answer to criminal charges for bilking innocent people. 

I do hope he will ride by our house again sometime so he can see the sign I'm installing on my property, which will say:  FOR A CRAPPY CONSTRUCTION JOB, CALL SCOTT KOPPENHAFER.  I hope to save other people from his unethical and unacceptable standards of business.
