In less than two years, I have made over 800 trades with this company.  Most of the trades were via the internet but several were over the telephone.  A 1000 share trade was always charged a commission of $8.95.   Last October, I made two 1000 share trades on the same day - one was charged $8.95, the other $1094.34.  Both these trades were made the day after SCA terminated their broker rep (that I had used for ten years) and I was assigned a new rep.  No mention was ever made of any kind of trade costing more then the normal $8.95 when I talked to the new rep.

In fact, both he and the SCA president John Hurry, sent me seperate emails saying they would reduce the commission fees for the first six months as we/they were going through this transition.  I made several calls to remedy the overcharge but was told that because they "thought" I called the order in (as I had done many times before), the $1094.34 fee was correct.  I have been trading stocks for 45 years and this is the first time any broker has tried to rip me off like this.
