Scottsdale Gun Center Refused to ship purchased goods; Ripoff! Scottsdale Arizona

On Sep 27, 2004, I purchased a pistol, extra magazines and ammunition from Scottdale Gun Center by phone. My credit card was charged for all goods at that time.

The pistol was promptly shipped to my gun dealer. It took six weeks of contstant phone calls, broken promises and lies before I finally received the ammunition (which they said had been in stock the whole time).

I still have not received the $177 worth of magazines which were not in stock at the time of purchase but were supposed to have been shipped by mid-October 2004. When I called to inquire in early November they said a shipment had just come in and mine would be shipped by the next day. When I called a few weeks later, I was told the same thing: a shipment had just come in and mine would be shipped by the next day.

Since then I have tried to follow up with more phone calls. The manager, Matt, says the owner (Steve) handles out of state shipments. Steve has been in meetings, with customers, or otherwise unavailable to take my calls for a month now. Return calls are promised, but never made. They also do not respond to faxes.
