Sealmaster Pavement Products Sportmaster Rick Noon a Fake ! Sandusky, Ohio

Couldn't believe my eyes when I stumbled on this post about Rick Noon. I am a retired chemist (30 years with a large chemical company) who had the pleasure of calling on and working with Rick for many years. This is obviously the rambling of a disturbed, disgruntled person with some kind of an ax to grind. My company, along with our research team worked on several projects with Rick and his team. No patents were EVER violated. We always found Rick and his team to be consummate professionals. Rick is an aggressive and creative thinker who always challenged our team to go one step further, whatever the project was. Aside from this, ThorWorks is an exceptional organization from the top down. One only needs to visit their corporate headquarters to see what a first class operation they are. The SealMaster franchise system represents the best in the industry and is highly successful. I wish Rick, ThorWorks and SealMaster continued success. I feel strongly that the clown who wrote this negative critique owes all parties a HUGE apology. 

I ran across this report about Rick and quite frankly was very shocked and in disbelief. I simply cannot imagine who or why someone would make up such a false story packed with lies. They clearly have never worked in the lab with him. I am a chemist, with a master’s degree, who worked alongside Rick for many years. Rick is one of the most brilliant formulators I have ever known in my 28 year career. Not only that, his character is beyond reproach. Rick has never, nor would ever “steal” a formula, nor would he ever allow anyone who worked with him to do so. Even though I no longer work for the company, I consider Rick a mentor and friend whom I learned a great deal from and have a great deal of respect for. I will also say the SealMaster Franchisees have a tremendous amount of respect and appreciation for his decades of hard work and service to them. Hang in there Rick; your colleagues, fellow employees, franchisees and the entire pavement maintenance industry know the real truth. 

I worked at SealMaster for many years and worked with Rick Noon.   He is a national treasure of knowledge and PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS of the pavement maintenance industry.   I have a degree in Chemistry and I have worked with Rick in the lab.  He is a very real and practical person and has created and found countless practical solutions to thorny problems.  

Rick know his business better than me, than everyone in the industry and his knowledge greatly exceeded the PhD Chemist that we worked with in the lab in making many of these formulations.

Rick and Thomas Edison may not have the DOCTORATE DEGREES that the critic seeks, but he is an asset to the pavement industry and to SealMaster.  This person has witnessed industry suppliers conversing with Rick and they could attest that Rick knows his supplier chemistry as well as SealMaster.
