I met Sean at a bar downtown in Santa Barbara called the Wild Cat. He approached me for business opportunities on Facebook later on in the month. When I finally connected with Sean, interested in his business, he told me he had a Collection Agency. I said I was more than interested in the position as I had just paid off a lot of debt recently and was curious how it worked. I signed a contract regarding distribution of the information to be collected from the agency and in our correspondence. I immediately asked Sean if it was okay that I had shared with others this opportunity. He assured me, "Yes.”
When Sean and I finally connected for my training for the position he ordered me to go to several sites and download several items. One of them was "TeamFinder.” When I downloaded it, I didn’t know what it was and Sean didn’t explain to me what it was. Instead after the download was complete, I notice my moise wasn’t being controlled by me, and was instead flipping through my private emails and I was on the phone and asked him, "Sean, what is going on?” He said that was his intention with the program and my boyfriend immediately lit up in the background telling me to hang up and disconnect. I thought it was a bit odd that Sean had not verbally walked me through the process or told me what was going on, rather than just taking over my computer to my surprise.
I thought I was downloading something for the business. I trusted Sean however and he walked me through demoing his excell spreadsheets which contained many social security numbers and private home addresses, names, bank account information, debt owed and telephone numbers. It was a lot to take in. I had to leave for a meeting and when I came back home to my computer, numerous personal files of mine had been deleted and my desktop picture had been changed. When I concernedly confronted Sean Wilczak about this experience, he blocked me, cussing at me, claiming he had nothing to do with it. When I reached out to a mutual friend, the mutual warned me about Sean Wilczak and mentioned he had negative past experiences with him also. I found this very disconcerting and needless to say, I deleted the applications he ordered me to install and I’ve settled with the personal damages, having lost some of my data and also the privacy of my computer. The way he handled business was terrible, extremely unprofessional and virtually alarming. I learned a valuable lesson about trusting "good-seeming individuals” from "good families” and will not likely be doing business with Sean again. I would not recommend working for him and I’m concerned about the data that he has access to for the use of his business. I’m also concerned with his intentions of proclaiming to "hire me” and then cussing me out after I confronted him about what happened.

#1 REBUTTAL Individual responds
Defamation of character
AUTHOR: Sean - (United States)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, April 04, 2018
I am responding to the complaint listed above. While it is true that I hired Hope as an independent contractor to do collections, it is categorically false to state that I hacked her computer by any means. Hope did not have Microsoft excel, or any Microsoft programs on her computer which is needed to work with our collection agency. I asked her if I could remotely connect to her computer so I could install these programs and she told me yes. I installed Microsoft suite, and set up her excel sheets so that she could start working right away since she claimed she was homeless and needed money as soon as possible. I went to lunch, came back and she stated to me that I hacked her computer and she is missing files, which is completely fictional.
