It is so sad to me to see how low SEARS has stooped.
When I first called Sears the operator told me they never heard of and would not honor my ad of $88.95 and that the cost is $169.00 for dryer vent cleaning. Well in a few days I called back telling Sears that I have a coupon from Valpak of Atlanta stating Dryer Vent Cleaning for $88.95. After calling 3-4 times and talking to various operators who told me they have never heard of an $88.95 ad for Dryer Vent Cleaning. I explained again that it was from Valpak of Atlanta.
Next they said that there is also a $20 "truck fee." I told them the ad said nothing about any extra fees and I expected to pay $88.95. They told me they would not come unless I paid the $88.95, the $20 extra and give them the coupon saying $88.95--like they did not believe me.
The Sears dryer vent cleaning guy came, pulled the lint out and left in on the lawn. I paid them the $88.95 plus the extra $20 truck fee and they left.
