Sears Portrait Studo False Advertising within coupons reg. $7.99 goes up to $19.99 in the studio South Portland Maine

I went to Sears Studio very excited to take my sons two month photos and our first family photo. Everything was going great until we went to pick out our pictures.

We had a coupon that advertises a $9.99 trial package. It says to combine that with a free wall portrait, which is on the other side of the coupon. There it says free wall portrait + $2.99 for each custom portrait sheet any pose, any size, any style. The exclusion at the bottom does say the $2.99 price can not be combined with the trial package but does not say anything about not being able to get the regular price of $7.99. They want to charge you $19.99 a sheet with the trial package!!! If you are will to pay this I recommend you go online after the fact and order more as the price is $14.99 there.

While I was discussing this with the sales associate another employee came over ever so rudely and said we could not get the $2.99 price and kept pointing to where it says that on the coupon. We informed this woman, who turned out to be the studio manager, several times that we did not want the $2.99 price we wanted the $7.99 price. I finally ended up telling her I was not going to argue with her and we ordered the trial package but I am still trying to get the company to honor their advertisement.

I am assuming this is an issue they have already had as the coupon my sister has the wording has changed to get customer portrait sheets as low as $2.99.

All in all I do not think I will go back to sears. I had my sons one month pictures taken at Kiddie kandids in Babies R us and they were much better. I have a few other portrait studios I want to try out before I decided where I will be taking him the rest of his life for pictures. Shame sears does not honor their coupons as they are losing business and don't seem to care.
