This is the biggest scam out there. I signed up for what I thought was a good vacation deal by a guy named Virgil of Sears vacation. I was sold a 7 day resort stay at any of their "5 star world resorts" plus a 7 night cruise for $149 down and a monthly payment of $75 for 18 months. They even threw in an additional 5 night "free" cruise. I should have know better as nothing is free and the deal sounded too good to be true... indeed it was. As it turned out, Sears Vacation outsourced to some company known as Registry Vacation so you must call Registry Vacation to plan your trip. And call I did.

After speaking with about 10 different agents throughout an 8 hour period. The bottom line is, it actually will cost MORE with Sears Vacation or Registry Vacation than booking your cruise vacation through a travelocity or directly with the cruise line. I actually did a price comparison on every cruise while the agents priced it and the cost was quite signicant with Sears Vacation compared with travelocity. Then to top it off, there are booking fees (NEVER disclosed at time of purchase) and a total waste of money & time. I attempted to cancel and get refunded but was told that there was a 9 day window from the time of receiving the fedex package (NEVER DISCLOSED) and what package I asked? At which time, the so called manager began to berate and belittle me.

Please BEWARE of this ongoing scam! We are now out of over $600 and nothing to show.

Dear Consumer,

First of all I would like to express how sorry I am that this has happend to you also. I would like to know if you ever recieved your money back? As I have just gone through this and I was able to cancel mine but they did not want to refund me. I finally went to see my bank manager and they have disputed all charges even ones that were over 120 days old.

We are not the only ones who have been victims of this scaving company. I have tried speaking to everyone, including corporate, to no avail. If you would like to take this matter further please contact me.

I am so mad at the way I have been treated and the matter handled that I will be taking this further, whether it be a lawyer or press. I hesitate to my email on here, but feel an injustice has been done by them and needs to be resolved. Even though I have recieved my money back there are others who have not. I would like to help.
