Seattle Sutton Healthy Eating Failed to deliver food as promised. Came 3 days late, spoiled. Would not reimburse or send me new order. Then lied and tried to discredit my character on social media. Ottowa IL Illinois

I've recently run into an issue with a food meal service, Seattle Sutton. Let me preface this by saying, I enjoyed their food, and I was with them on and off for over 5 years. I'm a RN and this was convenient and healthy with my work lifestyle. But, recently, I had a bad experience occur. I had an order that I missed being delivered on a Friday Sept 21st, around 10AM. I was texted this by their rep, aka Sutton's daughter, which is fine, as the food is in a refrigerated box and can last 48 hrs. Early the next day, I received a text from the rep that the box was out for delivery that Saturday Sept 22nd. I sat around ALL day into the evening. It never arrived. Finally showed up Monday, Sept 24th, at 8:15PM!! The food was clearly spoiled by then. Seattle Sutton REFUSED to do anything to make this situation right. Seattle Sutton filed a claim with and blamed UPS, UPS blamed them saying Saturday deliveries are not guaranteed? Now, any reputable business would have made this situation right, especially to a long term, loyal customer. I didn't even want my money back, just give me my 3 days of meals that I ordered and paid for. Nope, was told it's out of their hands and there is nothing they can do. Wasted 20 mins of my time saying how little they make on each meal and how I should get it delivered somewhere else...just inappropriate. So much for caring about your customers and their satisfaction.

They ruined business with a good paying customer for less than $85! I then made a post on their FaceBook thread stating all of the above....fair, and honest. Seattle Sutton replied and COMPLETELY lied, trying to discredit my character, saying UPS tried delivering several times on Friday and that I was given the option to pick up the box. Both statements are completely false (screen shots available of these untrue statements). Delivery was attempted ONCE (as seen in tracking pics) Now, if I was given the option, I would have most definitely picked up the box, as there are several UPS locations near me. But, I was told the box was out for delivery. I was not given the tracking number for the package until 7:15 PM Sat via email (screen shot and email available), at this point, UPS was closed. I'm really just shocked at this company's customer service and ethics, and want to spread the word, so this does not happen to someone else.
