Following a job posting for a recruiter submitted my resume and received numerous emails encouraging me to make an immediate appointment for interview. Finally did that even though my sensors were tingling. Actual job openings, if an employer is interested in setting up an appointment you will receive a personal response either by phone or email requesting an interview.  Continued to receive email urging the appointment setup. Clicked on link in email to set up the appointment and "registered" with name, phone, email address even though they would already have from original resume submission. Then taken to another screen where you get the idea that interview will be over the internet at their 'internet broadcast center'.  You are expected to follow instructions by clicking on first step where it is stated that they will be running a test to discover what other steps need to ready your computer for the "interview". This is when I notice the box popup with status bar that will follow the download of something (none of this is explained, nor permission requested). I begin to look over next steps and I see their plan is to install Java on my computer.  I already have Java installed on my computer and their 'test' should have confirmed this.  Now I know this was not a 'test' but their intent is to install something (what? who knows) onto my computer.  Fortunately I have a firewall that prevents this from happening.  We all have heard and read stories of viruses, malware, trojans, etc. Don't ever install anything, or give permission for anyone with whom you are not personally familiar to install anything on your computer!  Who knows what they are trying to install! This is all too shady and not the way reputable companies do business nor how reputable companies 'recruit' new employees.  Stay away from this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
