I own a store on ecrater and this could NEVER happen, we never ever see the customers sensitive information whether we use Paypal or Google Checkout, as part of our terms and conditions to be sellers we are not allowed to accept credit cards directly even if we have our own merchant account.

Ecrater is a awesome host site and all the stores in it are owned and operated by individuals not some big impersonal giant.
