We've used SecureNetShop (SNSCART) for three years now. It has consistently proven to be the most unreliable cart we've ever used -- we've used roughly a dozen different carts since 1997. The reliability problem became so unacceptable in 2008 that we were given about 6 months of free service. Unfortunately, once they started charging us again, the reliability didn't improve. As of this date we're enduring many outages per day, sometimes for hours at a time.
We've seen outages that last over a day. The staff is always apologetic, but who cares? We've lost countless thousands in direct revenue, and countless hundreds of customers who will never deal with us again because of this. On one occasion, when the cart had been down nearly two days, the "owner" of the biz issued a public statement to the effect that he now understands that he must have backup equipment. HUH!!?? He didn't know that on the first day he started the business?
We have threatened to dump them many times, but we have over 1000 products, and the thought of re-programing them all is daunting. But we really have no choice any longer. This company is ruining our business, and we simply must get rid of them. We've never seen unreliability on this level. We hope to never see it again. It's beyond ridiculous, beyond irresponsible, it's unforgivable. The worst part is, given even a small amount of intelligence on the part of the owner, it would be completely avoidable. We have concluded that this guy simply isn't smart enough to be running this kind of business. Our advice: stay away. Really. That's from the heart. Just stay away.

If the writer of the original report can contact me with some advice of a good shopping cart service or which service they switched to that would greatly be appreciated. I would like to cancel my SNS cart subscription. It will take time, but it does need to be done, to avoid all of the lost revenue they cause from down time.
