Securitas Security Services USA, Michael Lombardo dishonest, harassment, poor business practices Troy Michigan

I read a add on Michigan Works web site for Securitas. They announced full time and part time for Pontiac areas, which is close to where I live. I filled out an application for them and waited for about 2 weeks.

The current employer I was working for told me they were contacting him for verification on employment. He stated they were somewhat rude and he could hardly understand them, since it was someone with a heavy accent. Why they would have someone people can hardly understand talk on the phone, is way by me.

Anyways, I contacted them about 3 times and they finally called me for an interview. This all went well and I was excited to get the job. I was told to come back in 2 days for an orientation.

I came back and did a 3 hour orientation. I sat down to get my schedule as to where I would be at and was told I would only get about 8 hours for now, and a few more hours could be worked out. Well they knew I asked for full time, and was expecting that. Mike Lombardo who is in charge of scheduling said he could only do this for now. So I took it and got my uniforms and a badge to access the place I would work at.

I got home and discussed it with my wife and decided not to take it because it would just be stupid to quit a full time job to go to Securitas for just 8 hours. I am married with 2 kids so it would just not work. I was wanting to work for them so I could get out of my old job.

I called Mike Lombardo and told him of this. Which to me he seemed to be annoyed and disgusted that I would not take his 8 hours of midnight shift work(EVEN CO-WORKERS OF HIS TOLD HIM HE SHOULD GIVE ME FULL TIME). He kind of laughed and told me ok, just bring back the badge and uniforms. I said I would.

Not knowing he was meaning ASAP. I had to work the next day and and Friday. So that next day he called my wife at home in the morning and about 4 more times that day. He was nice at first, but then started being really rude with her. She is pregnant and stressed out and she did not need to take this from Mike Lombardo, some guy she didn't even know.

I work landscaping and work long hours. So I did not get home till about 9 pm that night. I had planned on taking the stuff back on Saturday. He had called right before I got home and chewed her out and telling her he would call and not stop calling till he got what he wanted. Asking her if she didn't get it or what, that he needed to speak to me.

This was very unprofessional of him, I thought. I wrote him an email seeing that it was late at night and didn't want to be rude, like he was. I told him to stop contacting and harassing my wife and I. That I would bring the stuff back when I could, as I took 2 days off of work for him already, I was not going to again. I told him this or I said he could drive up and pick the badge up. Which he did, but he just left the uniforms sitting there! After making such a big deal out of them too. He wrote me back with a rather unprofessional email, being sarcastic and rude.

So just telling people to watch out for this place. I don't know how all the Securitas places are, but this one is a joke and so is Michael Lombardo!
