Every thing that I read on the rip-off report about securitas is a fact. This company lets a farmer strait off the farm to a position of supervisor. Bring in all their family and friends and then screw over the rest of the employees. cant turn them in to a higher up because there is none. And when there was he did the same thing , like take all extra work for him and his family. So try to tell him about nepotism what a joke. Ok write a letter to main office to see what the deal is and so all they do is call up the manager and ask him if there is a problem and of course he says no. Thats the way they handle stuff. If you want to work for a disfuctional company, securitas is the way to go. I have seen just about everything from guards with concealed guns on sites to non-employees working for their spouse , yes with out a guard license. Securitas just lets the site supervisor fly by the wire. If you are a company with securitas on site you should check them out, and check them out again. They screw their own people so what do you think they will do to you. Good luck Be Be

You can't do anything about the nepotism BUT you can sure make an anonymous complaint to the DPS Bureau if this took place in Texas.
CALL THE BOARD ON A PAYPHONE! THEY ARE LOCATED IN AUSTIN,TEXAS!
While I can't believe these people (Securitas) have infiltrated WACO like the virus that they are, they are STILL SUBJECT TO THE BOARD'S RULES AND REGULATIONS JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE.
Best case scenario:
THEY WILL CAN THE MANAGER AND HIS OR HER REPLACEMENT WILL GET RID OF ALL THE NEPOTISM *** KISSERS AND EVERYBODY ELSE AND PUT OUT SOME HEAVY FINES. THE STATE NEEDS MONEY BADLY SO I THINK THAT THEY WILL PUT OUT FINES IN ANY CASE.
Worst case scenario: They will blacklist you anyway --especially if they find out who turned them in. Since there NO more pay phones that take money, you might have to but a phone card to make your report on the payphone.DO NOT USE YOUR CELL PHONE.
There are several violations of the law here.
If you have a CRIMESTOPPERS number, for Waco Police, call the local police so they will be looking for this guy. LET THEM KNOW WHERE AND WHEN HE WORKS AND WHAT HE IS DOING AND IT IS UNAUTHORIZED CARRYING OF A PROHIBITED WEAPON AND CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON WITHOUT A PERMIT.They can check him or her for a commission card and if they are carrying concealed without any kind of permit , they will be arrested. If they are on duty and in uniform,they can still be arrested. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW FOR A SECURITY GUARD IN TEXAS TO CARRY CONCEALED--ESPECIALLY ONE IN UNIFORM!.
I am glad you wised up and quit these idiots. THEY USUALLY DO NOT ALLOW THEIR OFFICERS TO CARRY FIREARMS SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS UP WITH THEM SUDDENLY!

Securitas is a major joke! I know of a site they have in Farmersburg, IN WHERE THE SITE SUPERVISOR SPENDS THE MAJORITY OF HIS 12 HOUR SHIFT SOUND ASLEEP!! Tell the local office about it and its like you may as well be telling it to a pig! Go up the chain to corporate to the toll free reporting hotline, and nothing happens!! Contract security is a joke, as it has always been........
