Seeking Sitters provided the single worst service experience of my life.  We signed up on the Seeking Sitters website and made a request six weeks before we needed a sitter and paid for the monthly package with unlimited requests for $12.99 per month.  After repeated phone calls and continued inquiries, they finally admitted they couldn't find a baby sitter two days before our event.

We then asked them if they could find a babysitter for a weekly date night on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday evenings.  We were promised by Christen, Brenna, and Gerald Buckley that they were working on our request. After six weeks, they were still unable to provide any service.  Then, they stopped responding to our emails or voicemails.

During this entire four month process, we were charged $12.99 on a monthly fee for a service they could not provide. Two requests to cease charging us were ignored.  When we asked that the charges be reversed, they sent us an email informing us that they would ask David (the owner) for approval.  No refund was processed and our emails went without response.   I am now working with AMEX to get my refund.

Do not use these people for any reason.  You have been warned.

Sincere Apologies

AUTHOR: SeekingSitters - ()

POSTED: Friday, April 18, 2014

Dear Family,

It is my sincere regret that your experience with SeekingSitters Nashville North has been such a poor representation of what our company is capable of providing for our families. It is always our goal to provide the safest babysitting available. In working towards that, it can means periods of time that the sitter pools run as low as sitters change schedules and new talent cannot be found. It is not a lack of effort or desire to fill the events; your disappointment weighs heavily on all of us.

Your account has been adjusted and the money has been refunded and promised to no longer charging monthly fees.

We are so sorry to have not been able to meet your requests for a sitter. We will continue to work to fill the sitter team in Nashville with the very best sitters available. If at any point in the future you are willing to try SeekingSitters again, we would welcome the opportunity.

 Thanks,

 David Kallweit

 Owner and Founder
