 I used Seekverify.com to find out who a persistent phone number belonged to. I paid $1.00 for a 1 time trial and cancelled my membership so I wouldn't be charged the 29.99 membership fee. I also called to make sure. Not only was the service wrong and weak, they charged me $39.99. When I called they put me on hold, disconnected me and emailed me a no refund response. This is a scam. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!

we have just replied on this site to another complaint that you submitted yesterday regarding some misleading ads that lead you to SeekVerify. As requested on our response, could you share with us a link or screenshot to one of those ads? if an affiiliate is using misleading ads to get new customers, we'd indeed like to know it and to put an end to this behaviour.

Meanwhile, if you signed up for a paid memebrship we can easily help you to cancel it and locate any possible charges. Please note that for your convenience your membership is renewed automatically after trial period at $39.95 every 30 days until cancelled, as explained on the registration page. We notify you of this during the sign up process, and you must check a box indicating that you understand this is our billing policy in order to even create an account. We include our company name and toll free number in the billing descriptor of each credit card charge so that it is easy to contact us with any billing concerns.

At Seekverify.com we offer 24/7 Customer and Billing Support, you cancontact us at support@seekverify.com or at 888-324-0755. One of our representative will request you to indicate the last 6 digits of the card being charged or the email address used to sign up: those details will allow us to locate your membership and locate any recurring charges.

Stop Lying

Stop lying, I am customer 3030997, signed up the night of 7/24, and tried to cancel the following morning of the 25th. I signed up for your "trial" and cancelled within 18 hrs via email requesting cancellation. You never acknowledged that and insist that I signed up for the membership and not the trial. Now you charged my card $39.99 and refuse to issue a refund. Now it is pending review from management. You refuse to remove my method of payment as well so I know you will try to charge next month. I have filed complaints with my bank and Federal Trade Commission. Ah! your company's affiliates are defrauding people on craigslist with unethical illegal marketing practices. I have informed Craigslist about this as wel. Copies to the FBI and the police deparment are being forwarded as well. Refund immediately or face legal action.

As explained on the registration page, for your convenience your membership is renewed automatically after trial period at $39.95 every 30 days until cancelled. We notify you of this during the sign up process, and you must check a box indicating that you understand this is our billing policy in order to even create an account. We include our company name and toll free number in the billing descriptor of each credit card charge so that it is easy to contact us with any billing concerns.

In your specific case, it might be that you didn't cancel your membership after trial period was over, though we would need your username or email address to be able to locate your account and check exactly what happened. We remain at your disposition for further clarification.
