I believe this company is a scam. I orginally became interested in this site because it offers "penny auctions" on high-dollar items. I signed up to get an account so I could browse the auction items to see if I would be interested in bidding. When prompted to give information, I thought it was to set up an account. NOWHERE on this page did it say that I was going to be paying anything or buying anything. Immediately after submitting my information, a popup screen came up and said "your credit card is being charged $179." This was NOT posted on the page I signed up on. When I attempted to reconcile the conflict with an online customer service agent, they not only refused a refund but they said that "nobody is authorized to give a refund." This company did not disclose that it would charge me a DIME and i was charged $179. They will not attempt to refund my money- money I haven't spent money on a THING on their website. I did not place one bid- they stole my money. This is fraud. I am working with my bank right now to dispute the charges and to stop payment.
