I paid for the script listing on Sellascript.com.  I sent several emails asking how I could verify the logline views and no one ever responded.  I asked for a refund two times.  NO one ever responded.  When I sent an email asking for them to upload an update of my script and change the name, they did so without problem.

I finally sent a rather strong email suggesting this was all a con and that no one ever responded to any of the emails.  I told them I would file a complaint with the FBI and BBB.  I got a response immediately!

Here is the response from Mr Paul Harvey:

"The previous email we received was the first request we received for a refund.

Regarding the views on your marketplace listing, the identity is not revealed as we have had problems in the past with writers contacting companies that had viewed their listing.  Obviously, your manic messages seem to suggest that you might have done the same. (Note he claimed not to have received any of the messages)

Regarding our contests, we have no idea what you're talking about.  You're suggesting that WE were the grand prize winner? That's baseless and out of left field. "

Note the lack of apology, the offer to refund my money, the courtesy.  Note the insult calling me manic and that I would contact the companies if I knew who they were.  I use another site, I do know who the companies are and I do not contact them.  12 views in 6 weeks is hardly worth paying for.

They appear to be only interested in money and they belittle people who pay for thier services.  I am not the only one.

Most definitely not a scam

AUTHOR: TheDoctor - (USA)

I placed an order with SellAScript.com a few months ago, but afterwards went online to check on their reviews and saw this ripoffreport complaint.  I was going to get a refund, but decided to see what happened.

All I can say is, my experience was very positive.  I used the online listing service and their email service.  I got a few requests through the listing service, but received 23 requests for my screenplay from legit companies through their email service.

So, I would definitely recommend their email service over the listing service. Definitely not a scam, I'm glad I didn't go for the refund.  If I decide to keep writing, I'll definitely use them in the future.
