The people who were running the fraud companies "Demand Logix", and "Closepoint llc" are at it again. Selling Factors has the same MO as the last scams: A lead generation company promising not only leads, but high dollar leads. Allow me to list all the red flags I've found.
1) Newly purchased domain
The Homepage https://www.sellingfactors.com claims to have been started in 2012. The domain however was purchased 2/16/17 according to ICANN's website here https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=sellingfactors.com . Although it's possible a company was around for 5ish years without a website it is highly unlikely, especially in this area of buisiness.
2) No Verifiable clients
Only testimonials are the ones on their website. One would think a company that has been around since 2012 would have at least ONE review. There are no reviews good or bad. Not on yelp or anywhere else. They claim to do business with over 400 companies worldwide but I couldn't find one. This is a big red flag.
3) Fake team photos
Navigate to the "Our Team" section of their site https://www.sellingfactors.com/our-team . Take a look at the CEO J.W. Holtz standing under the big SF. Must stand for "Selling Factors" right? Wrong. This man's name is David Adams. He is a top executive for a company called "SF Express". The SF stands for San Francisco http://www.scmp.com/business/companies/article/2104669/chinas-sf-express-eyes-home-grown-technology-means-expand . The photo labeled "Alice Wilkes" was also a stolen photo, just do a reverse image search.
4) John Marcus is actually J.W. Holtz
Take a look at the photo next to John Marcus. Now take a look at this youtube video (in the whopping double digits at the time of this posting) of the same guy also claiming to be John Marcus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEcNPyQ3VYc . Now take a look at this facebook profile and tell me what you see https://www.facebook.com/westcott.holtz . And that is the name of the persone who registered the website.
This should be more than enough to raise doubt about this place. Bottom line is they have done this before and are not who they say they are.
