SENSA Weight-Loss System Credit card fraud. Chasrged for products I have not received. Company did not have my authorization to charge my card. Bought only trial products for $4.95 shipping. Internet, California

Purchased a trial for the cost of shipping, $4.95

My VISA was charged ($89.95) for either a product I have not received or the "free" trial which I purchased for $4.95 shipping.  The charge was made without my authorization.

It was not my understanding that there would be any further commitment to this company for any more product or membership in their program.

When I called for a refund I was rudely spoken to by a representative that read the "company bull" regarding their program and return policy. I am still not clear on whether they have shipped additional product for the $89.95 charge or whether I was now being billed for my original trial product that was sold as a no charge item ($4.95 shpng only).

In either case, the marketing is extremely deceptive and misleading. I have also reported these scammers to the BBB.  What they don't realize is the amount of damage that will be done on the "blogs", etc.

Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here. Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report ..
