This so called company advertised in the "Greensheet" for "Receptionist: skills used for management. Stylish office, no experience. Must like fun.

When I called about the ad, they immediately set up an interview time for the next day. I asked about the company name and was told "M & L". I asked what they did and was told they were "International Wholesalers". I asked if they had a website where I could find out more about the company and was told their website was under "secure creations.com" (there is no such website).

The next day I went for the interview and was surprised to walk into a sparsely furnished office that looked dirty and was blaring rap music from a boom box on the floor.

After waiting 30 minutes, I was finally taken to an office in the back, asked a few question by a very young girl dressed in jogging clothes with flip flops on her feet and told I was invited to a second interview with her boss the next day.

The interview with her boss consisted of over 70 people being herded into a very small hot room where the boss proceeded to tell everyone about the company (which was NEVER mentioned by name).

The tip off for me was when this "boss" consistently used the "F" word, the "S" word and stated that during training you could make up to $400 per week. "Up to" are the key words here.

Also, if you are smart, you can easily figure out that $400 per week comes no where close to $30,000 per year. He also passed very quickly over the fact that we would have to sell this perfume to family and friends. It is a scam at the very least! And, the worst case scenario would be that it could very well be illegal!

I was lucky that I only wasted a little gas and 4 hours of my time. Don't waste yours!!!
