Servic Magic Sounds like a beneficial l idea... BEWARE!!!!... RIPOFF!!! Internet

Always research a company before saying yes to an attractive offer.

Service Magic contacted me shortly after being invited to join the BBB, they had a wonderful schpeel about how there service could help my business grow in leaps and bounds and we would both benefit in my excitement I said yes and paid my $99 fee and received leads the very next day. I called each of them immediately. One had no answer or answering machine the other two went to a message machine. I called multiple times over a couple of days to no avail. I went to one address and found no one lived there.

I did a bit of internet research that day and found many complaints about Service Magic and bogus leads, I called them right away and cancelled my service contract, this was my 4th day. I was able to cancel and told my lead charges would be removed and now two months later I'm receiving a notice to send to collections for $23.90.

Please BEWARE they talk a good plan but it a ripoff from the beginning. The contractor pays an upfront fee $99 then they send you leads that you pay for. They say a nominal fee from $12 - $25 per lead. You pay for whether you get the job or not. They keep sending leads to you and other contractors in the area so they get paid by all contractors whether any of us get a job out of the lead or not. Where is the mutual benefit? It was'nt in my pocket. Service Magic seems to be the only one making money.
