This company is horrible but its the only choice that we have in our area. I stopped in to pay on my bill and I gave them $100.00. They told me that I needed to pay another $123.00 by the end of the week. I told my wife about this and she went and told them that she would pay $60.00 each week until it was paid off and then continue to pay $50.00. The lady said that it would be fine. Three days later my daughter-in-law called me and said that they just cut off the cable. So my wife and I cut her doctors appointment short and went directly to the cable office and we were told that in order to have it turned back on we would need to pay $269.00. I asked them why they had not sent a disconnect notice in the mail and they told us that they did, yet neither my wife or I have ever seen it. The ladies are extremely rude in this office so I asked to speak to someone in upper management. I was told that I would have to wait until she was off from her conference call.
My wife and I waited until she was done and she came to talk to us. This lady was condecending towards my wife and I. So we asked for a web address and a phone number to contact the Corporate office. We were told that they would not give us the phone number but we were more then welcome to go to the library and look it up. That is just what my wife did. She sent them and e-mail about what happened and have yet to get a reply back from them.
I find this extremely exhausting all of the running around that they have been making us do. My wife and I gave in and went to pay the bill and when we walked in I told them that I would like the service turned back on right away. The lady told me that would not be a problem. I I asked for the total and I was told that now I must pay $208.00.
I did that and when I gave her the money I asked so what time can I expect the services to be turned on. She stated to me that it would be on Wednesday. I asked her what she meant, I said "You just said before I handed you the money that it would be today." She told me oh well I forgot.
