Service Master of Florida is a TOTAL SCAM. My home was damaged during hurricane Charlie. They told me the bill would not be more than 4000$ than tried to bill my insurance company 30,000 dollars.

This company is the most despicable company I have ever encountered. Taking advantage of people after a hurricane is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. No matter what they reply if they do DO NOT USE THEM!

I called Fort Myers office only to get ServiceMaster scammers out of Miami who have a Mail Boxes Etc addess and keep changing addresses to hide from people who complain. PLEASE anyone who reads this protect your assets! DON'T ever hire ServiceMaster.

I just received a certified letter stating they are going to put a lien on my home. No phone calls, no negotiations, it is so rehearsed.

Thank God for web site like this or else they will be ripping off more poor innocent people. After taking to people these dry out companys should be put out of business.

You have done business with another company, not mine. I have been in business and have been an active member of the Ft Myers community since 1978. It bothers me greatly that I find such an attack on the internet against my company, my integrity, my customers, and my employees. I will be happy to sit down with you and show you our track record for excellent service and fair pricing. I will also accept your apology and retraction from this site. I can also provide you with contact information for the State of Florida Attorney General to whom you should file a complaint against the company that you feel has scammed you. Please get your facts correct before you attack a good businessman.

If I were you, I would contact my state AG's office and the FTC to see if any other complaints had been filed against this company. Did you get their estimate, or did your insurance company, get their estimate in writing? And to the other Service Master person...franchise or not, ANY one location ripping people off gives the whole company (and it's franchises) a bad name. You should get off your duff and help this person out instead of giving us the same old "it wasn't me" routine.

Some of the information in your report is inaccurate. I was the one who referred you to the ServiceMaster in Fort Myers following hurricane Charley. They were overwhelmed with the number of needs and referred a great deal of work to other Servicemaster Franchise's who came into our area to work after the storm. ServiceMaster like many companies has franchises and many othe ServiceMaster franchises were providing service in our area. One of them were the people you mentioned in your report. The local Fort Myers ServiceMaster had nothing to do with this situation and in fact did everything they could do to suport your efforts in this matter. I would suggest a correction to this post and a apology to the local office. Since you are in the printing business maybe this would help you understand the difference. It would be like blaming a local Fort Myers printing franchisee for a print order done by a Miami, Florida franchisee.
