Services Unlimited Plus (SUP) send out young men claiming to be working through their college to win a trip to London. Ripoff Glendale Arizona

On October 31, 2002, I too was approached by two young men attempting to do some door to door sales with this magazine company. The young men claimed they were doing it through there college and that if they sold a certain amount they would win a trip to London to study for their film class.

After discussing all this with the young men for about a half hour I decided I could help out. They assured me that I had 2 weeks to cancle my subscription and they dont cash the checks until that 2 weeks is up.

I purchased some magazines to be donated to some hospital that they chose (since I wasn't interested in the magazines for myself). I returned home and realized a situation in the family had come up and that I could not afford the magazines at that time. So the next day I sent in my cancellation notice. Making it only two days (still leaving me a day to spare).

A few days after that my account was over-drawn and was was acquiring all these overdraft fees. The company had NOT even waited a WEEK.... further more I had no imformation to contact the company! I didn't think to copy the receipts since it seemed legit!

Two months later I had FINALLY recieved a leter from the company stating that if I send in the cancellation notice and copies of my cancelled checks that I would be reimbursed for the full amount. (in this notice they even stated the full amount.) So obviously they had records of the transaction....

I promptly went to my bank and paid the $5.00 for the cancelled checks and sent it back to them. This was in December....It is now March and I still have not recieved any type of reimbursement nor have a heard another word from them.

I think I am definately entitled to my money back and then some for the inconvience they have caused the overdraft fees and the cost of my cancelled checks!!!
But I doubt that I will ever see any of it!!!
