When you have worked hard your whole life for something you feel has importance and intrust that thing with a company that claims to be first rate, you expect that they will act professionally and responsibly. This Company did neither. If this report stops even one person from shipping their boat with SevenStar, it will have been worth my time.

My boat is a 65' carbon fiber catamaran that had been hit by lightning off the coast of Malaysia. We contacted SevenStar to transport it from Singapore to Marmaris Turkey. Astrid, in the Florida office was pleasant enough and we agreed upon a price and a schedule.

Now shipping is not an exact science and things change. This is to be expected. But dates were not only changed multiple times, the boat mine was shipped upon went from being a first class boat transport to a secondary ship, arranged at the last minute as was the final drop off point changed. All, of course after I paid and was locked into them.

This alone would have just been an annoyance and some additional cost for moving my folks around and housing and flying them on a different schedule. But my boat not only arrived damaged, but with a number of items stolen from it. This is an expensive and custom boat that not everyone can fix.

In the final analysis, they not only jerked me around in the process of repair, but, after I submitted a bill for a fraction of what it cost me, they had the balls to have their insurance company pass on a 10k deductable from their insurance (this was not my claim).

Look,if you're reaing this and thinking about using these clowns; don't. I've dealt with many reputable and honest companies over the years and I guess there are some folks who have used SevenStar successfully. BUT, if you run into a problem, you are on your own and don't say I didn't warn you. This is one terrible bunch at the top. AVOID THEM. Good luck, if you don't...
