SEXTON DENTAL CLINIC HAD DENTURES REPLACED ON MAY 7,2009. PAID THEM 8.00 DOLLARS TO FILE ON INSURANCE. TODAY IS JUNE 2,2009. I CALLED INSURANCE COMPANY AND IT HAS STILL NOT BEEN FILED. THIS IS THE 3RD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. FLORENCE South Carolina

I had dentures replaced at Sexton Dental Clinic in Florence, SC. on May 7, 2009. my total cost was $423.00. ok, I paid an extra $8.00 for them to file it on my insurance. Well, today is June 2, 2009 and i called my insurance company and it still has not been filed. Now, I had the same problem with them the first and second time getting them to file my insurance. What is up with these people? They tell you they will file your insurance for you if you pay them $8.00 extra dollars and then you have to call them long distance to get them to file it a month later and the claim is still laying in the files. The girl's name is Tameika and if she can't do her job without somebody calling her 20 or 30 times on one claim, they need to get her some help.
This is the 3rd incident that I have had with them about filing my insurance claim. If they don't want to file it for you, why make you pay $8.00 extra dollars? I don't understand. I live in Laurel Hill NC and I drive to Florence to get my teeth done. They do good work but the insurance claim office sucks! Please! Has anyone else had this problem? You would think they would have filed it within a month's time. Come on!

You have obviously not dealt with medical billing very much. This is a process that can take MONTHS to get through. Its been 3 weeks since you were there, that may be slow but its not too slow.
