Seyed Mowlana requested $1500 under the pretext of helping out with his mother's medical bills and promised to pay back the money within a month approximately 18 months ago. However when I reach out to Seyed he only gives me false promises about repayment options. He comes off as a nice person wanting to help his sick relative but I wished to warn others to watch out for him. He will use everything in his power to convince you but he will take your money and not follow through with repayment. He even asked if I can perform fundraising with my circle of friends and neighborhood to give him more money. He is very manipulative and sneaky and will misuse others peoples generosity to his advantage. Please be warned

He Ripped Me Off Too

AUTHOR: Danny - (United States)

POSTED: Friday, October 19, 2018

Sayed was the first LA friend I made, when I arrived in early May, 2018. We both had offices on the 8th floor of the WeWork Building on Vine St. We hit it off and I thought he was a geniune dude.

Long story short, he ripped me off and owes me $490 dollars cash. As well as fraudulently charging $500 bucks worth of GrubHub to my debit card. I’m currently in the process of pressing charges for that.

I’m also concerned because I think he got a hold of my sensitive information.

I wish I would have seen this sooner

Wow this guy is a real con artist !! He sold me a car for cash and being that he was super friendly and courteous I trusted his word. It turned out to be a horrible nightmare when I went to transfer the title I find that he wasn't even the owner of the car. Since that I haven't been able to locate him.
