I went to the bank to cash the check initially,and was told by the bank that the check was fraudulent, (thought because the M was left off of my 1st name). The check looks legitament. I called 1-866-231-9029 (spoke to a supposed Edward Phillips), and was told that i needed to fax him/or send a cashiers check so he can send a reisued check with the correct information.
The letter stated i had won $100,000.00
My friend contacted him, he tried to get the FEI number (the guy got irate). He calmed him down, telling him he was just making sure everything was legitamit.
There is also another address associated with them: 1000 Commodor San Bruno, CA 94066
