SH Dr. Mindells Life Extension Earl Mindell I was signed up for auto monthly shipments I didn't order-when I placed the Life Extension order. Manteno, Illinois

I ordered, by phone, a one year supply of vitamins and supplements which I am not complaining about. This was charged to my credit card Jan 26, 2012 and I received it Feb 4, 2012. I was offered a free trial of 30 days of Vitamin B-12, included.

I didn't know I was signed up for automatically every month getting another bottle and charging to my credit card. They claim it is in writing that I have to cancel or it will be automatically shipped but I didn't read this. I would NEVER order a monthly shipment. I just paid over $500 to get a year's supply so I didn't have to pay shipping.

On Feb 22, 2012 my credit card was charged $24.92. The day I received the order I called Customer Service and I have a cancellation number 457-8281. I was told it is too late to refund because it was already shipped. On Mar 6, 2012 I was charged $19.97 but I didn't know this until I got my credit card statment, Mar 23, 2012. I haven't received these vitamins.
You will notice they are sending faster than one month so I cannot cancel without yet another charge.

On Mar 23, 2012 I called my Discover Card company and told them I can't get freed from this auto charging that I didn't sign up for. He talked on the phone 3-way, with MIndell's customer service and me. They wouldn't do anything.

Discover removed the charges. But why should Discover have to take this loss? And maybe there will be more charges yet. This is clearly fraud and I will complain to other agencies as well. They should not be permitted to do this to people. And how stupid they are! Because they got ONE big order from me and also lost a good customer who is filing complaints.
