Hello Everyone,

Here is my story :

Back in April I looked online on paylesscaresales.com knowing that is is a reputable company to search for a SUV. I found the Land Rover I liked at Miami Mastercars D/B/A Payless Car Sales. I went there and I was greet by Shawn(Shahin) Yazdani. He showed me the car, he was nice and had great customer service skills. I took the car for a ride and I noticed the brake light went on for 2 quick seconds and the brakes were kind of loose. I told him that while we were driving and he said that if I decide to purchase the vehicle I should not worry because he will take care of it. Also I noticed that one of the headlights wasn't working properly, he again said all will be fixed and regardless I have 30 day warranty for any issues. Agreed I went to his office and the price for a 2000 Land Rover Discovery with 69,596 miles was 10,779.94. I said ok and I told him I will trade in a 2000 Nissan Sentra with 62,000.00, viper alarm, remote start engine and 2 weeks old bridgstone tires. He offered for my Nissan in perfect shape 4,000.00 I was quite surprised for the value of the car but I said maybe that is the real value. While doing the trade he said I have to sign the AS IS paper and I still have a 30 day warranty and gave me a paper.I told him he needs to take care of the brakes, to do an oil change for the Rover and also fix few more things. He said it will be done and he pulled a Carfax report for the Rover and he said this car is perfect was never involved in an accident, the pain is original and this car is a beauty. Lucky for me I paid the remainder of the total balance with American Express (6,779.94). Also I wanted to mention the color of the oil was black it looked that it was changed 10 years ago. But I figured it was sitting for a while. Next day I picked up the car and I went 1 week and a half later for a short vacation with my family in NYC and this is where everything started. Once I got there the brakes were looeser and looser. I tried to look and see the brake fluid level. Guess what my hood wouldn't open. I went to few different shops and they were not able to opene it. I e-mailed Shawn explaining the problem and he said he is out of the country and I am in the wrong city that is why nobody is capable to fix my problem. Next day I a frien call him from a different phone number pretending he was a buyer and he invited my friend to meet with him and see the car. So that is when I realized he is a LIER, SCUMBAG. I called American Express and told them what happened to me. They decided to place a stop payment on the credit card. I I finally got back to Florida and I tried via email and phone to get to a common point and undo the deal. He said that by law I can't return the vehicle and I signed AS IS and I reminded him about the warranty and he said there is no warranty for a used car. Being in back to Florida I went to the first mechanic to have my oil change done. The guy looked at the car and was laughing, I asked him why and he said do you really want to die? He was still surprised I was still not involved into and accident. I asked him why and he said the bakes on the card were the wrong size ( my brakes were changed at MIAMI MASTER CARS / by SHAWN Mechanics) the rotors were distoied and the brake fluid pipes were half way cut. I spet over 2,000 to fix those issues. Also the mechanic after I told him I just bought the car he looke at the car and he told me the car was painted and it was involved into and accident and has minor chasis damages. 2 months later (july 2007) American Express sent me a letter stating that my credit for the dispute will be refunded and it will become permanent in August 7th 2007 if no respons from Hannah Imports / Shawn Yazdani / Miami Mastercars will be done. Obivously it was neve received and my credit became permanent. Also I put more money in the car with other defects around 1,700. My expense got to around 4,000.00 On August 9th Shawn called my work place to tell me that I have to pay the car and he will go to the President of the company where I work and they are good friends. I explained once again what I incurred and I will not pay a dime. I hired a lawyer and if any of you were cheated by this SCUMBAG let me know and CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT will start!!!!!! PLEASE DON'T GO THERE DON'T BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL LIE AND YOU WILL BUY A PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!!!!

we have over 300 cars in inventory, ahve the highest retail rating with florida dept of motor vehicle, how can we accompalish all of by ripping people off, most of our clients are by refferal only, you can visist our site at mastercarspayless.com and see our selection for yourself. well I quess in romania people do business differently, how can you keep the car and the payment, either you return the car or the payment, I quess when he pays for my lawyer and court fee's he learn. we have laws in this country, thank god, will have all of you posted with the final result.

This report was just brought to our attention. Our company emphatically denies the allegations put forth by Mr. Daniel. Rather than refute each untruth, the fact is that our company made every effort to satisfy Mr. ---'s concerns. Even though our company had no contractual obligation to do so, we still offered on numerous occasions to cancel the transaction and return Mr. --- his Nissan Sentra in exchange for the return of the Land Rover. However, Mr. ---- persistently refused.

Our company has been in the business of selling pre-owned vehicles in Miami for over five years, and we stand behind our reputation. We sell many cars a month, and very rarely do we encounter customers who are not 100% satisfied. As evidence of this, a lawsuit has never been brought against our company. A search of the civil justice record system will confirm this.

It is most unfortunate that Mr. --- was unhappy with his vehicle; however, the appropriate course of action would have been to return the Land Rover in exchange for his Nissan, which he refused to do. Therefore, given that our company did not receive full payment for the vehicle or receive the return of the vehicle after many requests, we had no choice but to bring a lawsuit against Mr. --- (Mr. --- did not hire an attorney to bring suit against our company but rather to defend a lawsuit). Furthermore, we are most confident that the courts will validate our position.
