shakespeares den .com FRAUD AND SCAM-do not buy Lynnwood, Washington

yes its true, shakespeares den is a scam.  I placed an order a week ago. the item has not shipped and there is no answer via email or phone. Even if they have chosen to stop running the site for the time being and not take it down and still bill people, its still a scam. shame on you.

Yep, its true. shakespeares den is a complete scam. I wish I checked them out online before I made a purchase.  My card was billed immediately but the item has not been shipped a week later, and there is no response via email or phone. I have asked my credit card company to reverse the charges and im waiting on that. Either they are an outright fraud, or they are completely negligent to not take the site down or alert thier billing provider when they have chosen to not operate it. Its the same thing in the end.

At some point she was definitely ripped off by English teachers :)

We did refund this customer for the one missing product after figuring out who they were. They also neglected to share in their report that they only were missing one of the four items that they ordered. They were only missing one item which had been back ordered. We look forward to showing to any new customers that we've made much progress in our customer service.

We have been in business since 2000 and do not scam people.  Now that personal issues have passed, we look forward to returning to the level of customer service we were once known for. We are catching up on emails and If anyone else has had a problem they can feel free to contact us again and we will work any problems out with us. I

i still havent heard from shakespheres den. their rebuttal was just more of their lies. designed to buy them time, and keep them out of trouble while they rob their customers

you had time to remove the negative comments i posted on your facebook wall so no one would see them within five mins of my posting them. but in four months you dont have time to return a single phone call or email? to dozens of  people you ROBBED? if you invested any time at all in actually providing products to people as promised instead of just collecting money and attempting to perpetuate your fraud and cover it up maybe you wouldnt be under investigation right now. maybe you should spend less time trying to trick people into thinking you were a legit business and less on facebook and less overloading serch engines with links  we might believe you. YOU OWE ME MONEY.

I'm sorry for the customers bad experience. The last few months the creator Shakespeare's Den has experienced a series of unfortunate personal hard times that unfortunately left the store running on bare bones and not what we had been building over the last few years. We've just brought on someone to take care of handling our customer service issues and are making sure people were not incorrectly charged for item that didn't ship yet. We hope to have everything running smoothly again in the next few weeks.

We have never committed fraud and protect our customers information. We provide refunds if needed or get the merchandise to folks. We admittedly have had a number of communication issues that we are now taking care of.

wow! the search engines got rid of all the links they fooled people with, but only under the correct spelling of shakespeares name. they have done the same thing on common mis-spellings of his name too though, so if you spell shakespeare like shakespheare or shakephere you get the exact same scam they had going on the right spelling . more proof of their criminal intent. they also use at least two differant addresses
