Shane Sheriff Deceptive Duty Free Salesman at Sydney Airport Sydney Other

 Shane Sheriff is a dodgy salesman at Sydney International Airport. He blatantly overcharged me when I bought two bottles of Remy Martin and a digital camera. The total should have been 490 Australian dollars all up, instead, he said that was in American Dollars and that I needed to pay an extra 140 Australian dollars due to the exchange rate, so all up I paid 640 AUD. He also said told me I couldn't pay with card as the machine was broken, and they only accepted cash. I trusted him and paid him in cash. 5 minutes later I found out from the receipt that I got ripped off, that it was 490 Australian dollars. I told him I wanted my money back, but he started making derogatory comments about me being Indian, and saying we were charlatans and lacked scruples. The ironic thing is I find out later Shane is Indian himself, he is a self-hating Indian who pretends to be Polynesian and African-Australian. I told him we were in Australia and that the prices were in Australian dollars, and he was blatantly trying to rip me off. I eventually spoke with his supervisor, and the video camera of the transaction was reviewed and it was deemed Shane overcharged me, but instead of firing him, Shane still works there. Next time you go to Sydney international airport, if you see this man Shane Sheriff, avoid him at all cost.
