I was looking for an mini SD card to USB convertor keychain as a gift for a friend before christmas. Stumbled upon these guys on ebay selling exactly what I wanted for a dollar, it didn't strike me as oddly cheap as the key chains are comparatively priced between a dollar and 5 dollars. I ordered it thinking i'll have it in 10 days to beat the 26th Dec and nothing.

I though to myself okay maybe i ordered late, but still should have been here by now so i sent several emails to these guys asking if there was some kind of delay during shipping. I received zero response, i thought okay lets escalate this so i opened a case on eBay and sure enough I got an immediate response from the seller whom I had been trying to reach. At this point it was January 6th 2010 the order was made on the 10th Dec 2009 the significance of the time that had elapsed will be more clear in a moment. anyway here's the communication:

It has been over 2 weeks and I still have not received this item. Kindly provide a tracking number if available

Sorry for the delay in responding you.



Thanks very much for writing back, I am so sorry to hear that you are still waiting for the order.



We sent your parcel out on 11th  December  via Hong Kong post .(in the dispute on ebay they said it was sent on 10th, already a discrepancy here)



Sorry, its flat air mail, so we cant track it for you, we can only contact with our post agency with the shipping code .



Normally the parcel takes 7-21 working days to arrive as we listed on line, but sometimes it may be 5-10 days  delay because of customs clearance or flights.. (21 days??? 21 days???? plus 10 days for customs???? where do I live the moon????)



Our post status is bad recently due to the new year rush. (who cares?? that has nothing to do with whether they sent the item or not, all i want to know is who is responsible for why I do not have my item; to do that I need proof that you actually shipped the item which needless to say they won't be able to prove)



Sorry for the wait, we do wish you can get it soon. (bullshit)

It was clear that these guys were trying to bullshit me into waiting for over 45 days when they know that a credit card charge back claim is much harder, even their online ebay store changed names during December but i did track them down. Bottomline is these guys are unscrupulous, and you WILL lose money if you buy from them. luckily i lost just a dollar but i lost non the less to thieves
