This rip off of a person was seeking to rent a place to live, at least that is what I thought. She was actually just using my home as a place to layover until she was able to obtain another apartment in the county that she was trying to return to originally. It turns out that a background check done in the county that I lived in did not protect me because she gave me an alais name that did not show up who she was in the public records. She actually had 3 or more convictions from other counties such as Halifax and Durham County. The background check that was performed on her came out of Mecklenburg County and showed nothing. Her conviction report shows that she is familiar with the system of writing bad checks and the process of being evicted. It's sad because she has 3 children that she obviously does not have any fear of putting in harm's way...Not only is she a liar and a thief but a bad mother too. This rip off con-artist wrote me 2 bad checks from her closed bank account. One check was for her security deposit totaling $1,000.00 and the other was for the first months rent for $1,200.00. Yes, you got it right. Shannon Erika Harris-Early ripped me off for $2,200.00 and this does not include bounced bank account fees etc... If you are the landlord for the next County that she is rolling into... I hope that she is not able to rip you off like she ripped me off. Don't take any checks from her...don't believe anything that she says because she is a con-artist and will take all that she can to get what she needs. You are going to be looking trouble in the face if you rent to this rip off!!!
